Discussion with Invincible and Waajeed

I thought it was really exciting being talked to by successful underground artist like Waajeed and Invincible. It was really interesting to hear their stories about where they came from and how it impacted their careers.  With the discussion we had I learned that underground artist are not just artist who could not make it into mainstream but they actually are just as successful as artist like Emeniem.

The story that Invincible told us about the offers she has received worth $1 million to step out into mainstream was completely respectable. The fact that she turned the deals down instead of molding herself into someone else like they wanted her to do shows how important her art is to her and she is someone that everyone can look up to. It was so true about how once something is successful for someone else such as how they wanted her to be the female Emeniem how labels tries to play on it and keep it going just like the whole "Jersey Shore" which has had other shows just like it, like "Jersey Couture," "Jerseylicious" and so on.

Also after looking up Waajeed I learned that he worked on the project Rize, which I have seen and loved and meeting someone who has done other things like that was totally cool. Even though he did not talk that much he was hilarious and successful which shows that fame does not equal to someones success and that one can reach as many people as they would in the mainstream.
